Two Little Cuties: Twin Baby Shower
Wow! I can’t believe the twins just turned ONE year old! It feels like our twin baby shower was last week! I’m not going to lie! I miss being pregnant with my Two Little Cuties. Don’t get me wrong, feeling twin baby kicks and turns was like WWF Smack Down! Those kicks in the ribs really hurt sometimes but what a wonderful experience it was to carry twins! Sometimes I still think about how magical my twin baby shower was, despite having swollen feet and my heavy waddle!
My pregnancy with the twins was not always perfect! We had some scares along the way, but I still consider it the experience of a lifetime! I went from doubting my body completely after having a miscarriage, to trusting God and my body to carry two! I won’t lie, as the time came closer to my due date, I had mixed emotions. To help keep my mind off the anticipation of my upcoming delivery, my mom planned a beautiful twin baby shower with the cutest theme and aesthetic look!
Why Did I Have A Co-Ed Twin Baby Shower?
Back in 2019, I was pregnant with Hudson. During this time, we were in the peak of the pandemic, so my mom had to cancel my baby shower. When I became pregnant with twins she put 1000% of her effort into this epic occasion. I’ve always loved the idea of having a co-ed twin baby shower because I believe the husband should be part of the occasion. Plus, its absolutely hilarious to watch the men play some of the baby shower games! Like come on, how funny is it to see them chugging apple juice or White Claws from these baby bottles?
I decided which theme I wanted and went straight to work by creating mood boards on Pinterest. I linked my Two Little Cuties Twin Baby Shower Pinterest Inspo board with my mom and she took over the planning from there. I’m usually a control freak when it comes to party planning, but my mom was eager to “WOW” me and wanted it to be a surprise. She contacted my best gal pals and kicked me out of the planning process. My excitement to welcome our TWO LITTLE CUTIES was at an all time high!

Co-ed Baby Shower Games
Baby Bottle Chugging Contest: We had the men and women play against each other and picked two winners. It’s a great game and that can include all ages! I found the perfect package with bottles and a sign to match the Cuties theme!
Blind Folding Diaper Challenge: This was by far my favorite game to watch! We used a variety of medium sized stuffed animals and blindfolded the players to see who could put the diaper on CORRECTLY the fastest! Each player has a separate time keeper and there is one judge who chooses which diaper is the best.
Don’t Say Baby Game: Although this game can be repetitive for baby showers, we decided to add a little challenge. You are not allowed to say “Baby, babies, and twins”.
Bet On The Twin Delivery Date: My mom and I were going around with a calendar and a member from each family guessed which date in September that they thought the twins would be born on.
Gender Guess: We took a poll on what each person thought I was going to have! Since we chose to wait until birth to know the genders of the babies, it was so fun to listen to all the guesses my family and friends thought I was going to have!
Things To Consider When Planning A Baby Shower
When planning a baby shower, it’s important to decide what you want your vibe to be. This is your baby shower, you deserve to feel special and supported on this day! For example, I told my mom I wanted the baby shower to be a fun and energetic vibe that is full of laughter. The bright Two Little Cuties theme had a great color scheme included with fun games and modern decor to make the perfect twin baby shower!
Ask yourself these questions:
What kind of vibe do I want?
Who could I invite that will create the environment I want?
What kind of baby shower do I want?
Remember, that your baby shower is going to be beautiful, unique, and special!
Which registry do I want to use?
